We aim to ensure our students are able to read the Quran fluently. Reading Quranic Arabic starting from beginners (Qawaid) to intermediate (Juz Amm) and concluding reading from the Quran paying attention to the correct makharij (pronunciations) and observing the tajweed rules.
The aim of this program is to memorise the Quran. At Tanzeel all our students are on the Hifdh program.
Students at level one memorise Surah Fatihah and Surah Feel to An Naas. This is taught orally as at this stage children are not able to read.
At Levels two and three they memorise Juz 30 completely.
In subsequent levels the students memorise from juz 29 as the Surahs are shorter and continue until they complete.
Our aim is to lay the foundation for our students to start GCSE Arabic Language.
Children start by writing the Arabic alphabets in all its different formats starting with standalone letters followed by beginning, middle and end letters and finally joined letters.
They then progress onto high frequency words and phrases.
Once students are confident, they then proceed to either the Arabic Gateway series or the Madinah Books series for intermediate studies.
