Husna Begum

Quality Control & Complaints Officer

Husna graduated in Economics in Bangladesh. She studied tajweed and Hifdh from her father and is one of the founding members of Tanzeel. Being a full time mother Husna noticed the shortage of suitable institutions available for her children to memorise the Quran. With this in mind she with a few likeminded parents set up Tanzeel.

She is currently responsible for quality control & customer complaints.

Noman Ahmed Patwary

Head of Admissions & Human Resources

Noman graduated in Economics and is the founder of several successful businesses. As a father of four children he has deep concerns on the standards and educational facilities available in Tower Hamlets.
Noman has been successful in bringing his business skills in to the educational sector. Student admission at Tanzeel has hit over two thousand students. Noman is also taking an active role in staff training and implementing an innovative new programme to produce new teachers and head teachers for Tanzeel.
In his spare time Noman is actively working with a local charity of which he is a founding member providing educational and humanitarian support in Bangladesh.
He is currently the Manager of all Tanzeel branches in Tower Hamlets

Sulaman Ahmed

Head of Finance & Administration

Graduated in Accounts and about to complete his ACCA he is currently managing a local accounts firm in Tower Hamlets. Married with two daughters Sulaman has a passion for educational excellence and was delighted to accept a Directorship at Tanzeel. His expertise in finance and management has been invaluable to a growing organisation.
He currently is managing the Tanzeel Branch in Stepney.

Foysol Miah

Tanzeel Syllabus Coordinator & Staff Trainer

Graduated in 2006 at Goldsmith College in Computer Science and is a qualified PGCE teacher teaching over 8 years at local secondary schools. Foysol grew up in Tower Hamlets and attended the local schools and mosques in Stepney. Currently married with a son and a daughter he is extremely concerned with the standards of education in the inner London Schools and was the founder of a not for profit tuition centre (Tower Tuition) working in partnership with Tanzeel with the aim to provide affordable educational support for local students.
Recognizing the lack of structure and creativity in the Islamic classes available in the UK, Foysol eagerly accepted the invitation to be a Director at Tanzeel where he has made valuable contribution bringing in his expertise in classroom management and bringing ICT solutions in learning and administration.
He is currently responsible developing the Tanzeel syllabus and head of the ICT team.

Dr Shabela Begum

Health & Safety Officer

Dr Begum studied locally in Tower Hamlets. She graduated from Oxford and completed her medical studies at the Bart's and the Royal London Hospital. She now works as a GP.

Despite her intense work schedule Dr Begum plays an active role in the community. She was formerly a presenter on Bangla TV and Islam Channel, and is currently involved with community projects for women and youth in East London.

Dr Begum has been involved with Tanzeel since its inception and has been responsible for formulating and implementing policies with regards to child safety and welfare.

Ashfaque Miah

Health & safety officer & Adult Classes Coordinator

After a career in the civil service working in various departments ranging from tax, benefits and education Ashfaque is currently a housing officer for Tower Hamlets. Ashfaque�s knowledge and experience has been invaluable to Tanzeel in its expansion of six branches
Having lived in Tower Hamlets for most of his life Ashfaque is aware of the need for adults to benefit from the Tanzeel programme and has taken a lead role in establishing adult classes in Redbridge and Tower Hamlets.
He is currently the Centre Manager for the Ilford Branch of Tanzeel.
